JYP Entertainment announced on the 6th that they will be revealing the global audition program 'Nizi Project Season 2' through their official JYP YouTube channel every Friday starting from the 21st of this month. 1. What is Nizi Project Season 2?
JYP Entertainment, in collaboration with Sony Music Japan, is commencing the global audition program 'Nizi Project' Season 2 to discover a new boy group. Nizi Project Season 2 global auditions began in July 2021, spanning a total of 11 cities including Nagoya, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Sapporo, Okinawa, Tokyo, Sendai, Kobe, New York in the United States, Los Angeles, and Seoul. Over 10,000 applicants applied for the auditions. In order to create a boy group that excels not only in dance, vocals, and star quality but also in musical talent, a new category for songwriting and composition was added, securing a wider range of talented individuals.
2. Broadcast Schedule
- July 19, Nizi Project Season 2 Special Broadcast (Nihon TV)
- July 21, Friday, 10:00 PM (Available on Japan's Hulu)
- August 4, Friday, starting from 7:00 PM (Edit Version available on YouTube)
- For countries outside of Japan, the Full Version will be simultaneously released on JYP's YouTube channel on the day of broadcast.
- From October onwards, the Korean training and final stages will be aired as regular broadcasts.
